Mercedes Vito Vans From Car Dealers at Last!

It has long been Mercedes-Benz's policy to sell cars through car dealers and commercial vehicles through commercial vehicle dealers. Sounds logical you would think, but there are more car dealers across the UK than there are commercial vehicle dealers. This means that you are more likely to be near a Mercedes passenger car business than a commercial vehicle business. The latter are typically located on an industrial estate, which is where most of us don't live.
As vans are getting better, certain models like the Mercedes-Benz Vito and its main competitor, the Volkswagen Transporter are appealing to the MPV-driving folk of the country. Not only can they seat seven people (or more) in comfort, they can also accommodate plenty of luggage. Since they are designed to carry weight, (and slow it down again) they feel somehow safer than the people carriers that start out life as lesser 'cars' and therefore appeal to larger families (especially those with particular hobbies that involve carting around plenty of gear.) The added bonus is the van can go to work during the week as that - a van. The Mercedes Vito can now be ordered with a three litre diesel engine, producing in excess of 230 horse power - not bad for an old van! This will propel a driver and his family along the motorway quite happily at 70 miles per hour, safe in the knowledge that there is plenty of safety features installed in the Vito, such as traction control, ABS, ESP plus all the active safety features you would expect from a Mercedes-Benz.
